The First Commercial team celebrated their second birthday today. First Commercial has grown from a team of just 4 staff in October 2009 to over 23 staff today and is still rapidly growing. Not bad for a company that started from scratch 2 years ago. The team has been very successful in navigating tough times over the last two years and we continue to grow from strength to strength with a strong client base and ever growing property management portfolio. The First Commercial Team set off for Jupiter’s Casino Gold Coast on Friday for an unforgettable weekend. 

The weekend was designed to stimulate and test each staff member. Greg Ritchie, former Australian Cricket Player and popular Media Personality, opened our conference with a very entertaining presentation. 

The First Team, with the help of Managing Director Angelo Efstathis and Team Coach John Highman, reviewed our performance in 2011 and began setting objectives for 2012. With our goals in place we also began planning how best, as a team, to achieve them. 

Numerous positive and significant ideas came out of this meeting ensuring First Commercial Realty will remain ahead of its competition and as a market leader in the Commercial Real Estate market. 

After a successful day of planning the team bonding began with a fiery bowling competition, followed by some relaxing activities and hilarious surprises all in the name of team spirit. The weekend’s aim of bringing us together as a team was successfully achieved taking First Commercial Realty and our company vision to the next level.

A sporting equipment wholesaler in need of more room has pre-committed to a new office/warehouse south of Brisbane. World Of Sport Wholesalers recently secured a five-year lease with a five-year option on a two-level 2,177sqm building at 26 Motorway Circuit, Ormeau. In the deal, negotiated by First Commercial's Luke Mullen, the company will pay $250,355 a year for the site owned by Edev Property Group.

Austral Ltd has secured a car wholesaling/showroom space at 22 Maud St. In the deal negotiated by Ben Bowen, it will pay $65,000 a year. The company has a one-year lease with two two-year options.

An agency's foray into internet video promotion has paid off with a management company securing corporate office space in Brisbane's outer southern fringe. 

Genesis Corporate Services secured a five-year lease on 324sqm of office space at 236 Old Cleveland Rd, Coorparoo, after viewing a video of the property and the surrounding area.

In the deal negotiated by Mitchell Stewart from First Commercial - which also manages the two level property - Genesis will pay $110,160 a year gross plus GST, which includes an option to extend.

A Perth-based company specialising in air pollution and noise control systems for the mining industry has secured new digs for its Queensland operation.

Web development services company 123 Solutions has securecd a three-year lease on an office/warehouse/showroom at 34 Wyandra St. In a deal negatiated by Cameron Wylie, the company will pay $88,000 gross plus GST for the 770sq m space.

Owners of a three-level office block that was in need of an expensive refurbishment grabbed the chance to sell when the opportunity knocked.

Ian Porter has joined ever-expanding First Commercial team as a senior retail sales/leasing executive. Mr Porter formerly worked for a long period with Richardson & Wrench Commercial.

Crockworth Properties has purchased a strata-titled office/warehouse unit at 3/116 Crockford St for $525,000. The vendor of 372sq m property was Colaco Shipping. Ben Davidson and Michael Hedger did the deal.

New Life Freedom Enterprises has moved into 5/235 Nursery Rd to establish a tanning and beauty studio. In a five-year leasing deal with a five-year option, negotiated by Mitchell Stewart, the company will pay $27,060 net a year for the 82sq m shop.

Prowler Industries has secured an office/ warehouse strata unit at 4/4 Hopepr Ave for one year with a one year option. In the deal negotiated by Luke Mullen, it will pay $37,700 gross plus GST for the 323sq m property.

Sheree Griff has take up a role of business development manager with First Commercial Realty. Ms Griff formerly worked for LJ Hooker Commercial Southside as a commercial property manager. First Commercial now has a staff of 25, after starting with four in October, 2009.
